One-minute explainer videos. Why do we call them this way? Most of them are 1.30 minutes, aren’t they?! So how do you manage to tell your story in less than a minute? I have 3 tips to keep your explainer video under 1 minute:
1. Choose the right style of story – As what person do you tell the story? A friend? A sister? A father? A professional? Knowing that is what makes a difference in the tone of voice you choose.
2. Articulation – How much emphasis must a voice-over use pronouncing the text? The more emphasis, the more time it takes.
3. Think of pauses – Pauses, really? Yes! Sometimes adding pauses is necessary, even in 60 second videos.
