Last month we updated our ProjectPages system, of which the new design was the most obvious change. Next on the agenda was the briefing process: and, we haven’t just given it a quick lick of paint. Thanks to your input a number of highly requested features have been added.
Here are two of the most noticeable ones:
1. A bigger choice of voice overs
In addition to the voice overs shown on our site, we take care of a lot of specific voice castings. The database that we use for this is now available for you to search yourself. So, for example, you can now choose from more than 700 Dutch voice overs and 1100 English voice overs.
To see this feature, go to ‘Make a project’, at step 1 click on ‘select voice’ and then the ‘extended database’ filter.
2. Timing, length & target audience
The better a voice talent can understand what tone of voice you have in mind, the smaller the chance of time consuming retakes. Does the tempo of their speech match the tone of voice example? Is there a maximum length? Or does it need to align with a specific timecode in your script? You can now indicate these sorts of things.
You can find these features in step 3 of the briefing process.
I hope you’re happy with the new updates. This summer we’ll be adding even more. Thanks again for your valuable input and should you see anything that you think could be improved, then be sure to let me know.
